ONYX is a research and statistical analysis tool. It provides model-generated grades, calibrated probabilities, and data-driven reads on MLB player performance for informational and entertainment purposes only.
ONYX is not a sportsbook, betting advisory service, or financial advisory service of any kind. Nothing published on ONYX -- including scores, grades, probabilities, picks, or written analysis -- constitutes betting advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to place any wager. The decision to place a wager, and all consequences of that decision, rest entirely with you.
Statistical models are imperfect. Past model performance is not a guarantee of future results. Calibrated probabilities represent statistical estimates derived from historical data -- they are not certainties. The Track Record page publishes every graded outcome publicly, and we encourage you to review it before placing any reliance on model output.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account or using ONYX, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years old or older and have the full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations in your jurisdiction -- including any laws governing sports wagering, gambling, or fantasy sports. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or legally available in your location.
Access to premium features requires a registered account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@onyxmlb.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Paid subscriptions grant you a limited, non-transferable right to access premium features during the active subscription period. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time with reasonable advance notice. Your continued use of the Service after any price change constitutes acceptance of the revised pricing.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice.

All content, design, code, model architecture, scores, grades, written analysis, and other materials on ONYX are the exclusive property of ONYX and its operators, and are protected by applicable intellectual property, copyright, and trade secret laws.
These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes only. No other rights are granted. You may not reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works from any ONYX content without prior written consent.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. ONYX EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
ONYX does not warrant that the Service will be continuously available, error-free, or free of harmful components; that scores, probabilities, or grades are accurate, complete, or reliable for any purpose; or that the Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations.
You assume all risk associated with your use of the Service and any decisions made in connection with it, including wagering decisions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ONYX AND ITS OPERATORS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES WHATSOEVER -- INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSSES ARISING FROM WAGERING OR GAMBLING DECISIONS MADE IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE -- REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION AND WHETHER OR NOT ONYX HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
In no event shall our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to ONYX in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim or (b) one hundred dollars ($100.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in such jurisdictions, the limitations above shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account or through a prominent notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration in connection with any such dispute.
